Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the first of my blogs.
We are now beginning the last part of the school year. It's great to have Mrs Pearson back from maternity leave now. If you see her, make sure you say hello and welcome her back to Highbank warmly.
Only 8 weeks to go until we finish for the Summer holidays and yet we still have so much to do.
During the next half term:
  • Family Craft will continue until 19th June
  • Class Assemblies for Y1 and F2
  • Maypole Dancing for Y3
  • Sports Week (including Zumba Day, Family Picnic, Basketball and Sports Day)
  • Children's reports for Parents
  • Move-Up Day
  • Y6 Play performance
  • Y6 awards evening
This week in school is tough and very busy. It's Pupil Progress Meetings all week where each teacher meets with Miss Ishmael, Mrs Pearson and myself to discuss the progress and achievements for children in each class. This is our 5th round this year.

We nearly have all the new uniform in for September. Just a few things for girls to arrive. Mrs Lyons in the office is working tirelessly to make sure we can get these out to parents before the end of term. I'm really looking forward to seeing the Y6 children next year. I know they're excited too!

Keep checking this blog for regular updates.

Have a good day whatever you're up to

Mr C.
