Thank goodness, it’s nearly Friday!
It’s been a heavy week in school especially for the staff and children in Y6 who have been involved in SATs; they’ve had six test papers to complete. All their hard work and effort has culminated in the tests. We still have writing to complete yet but the worst is over. I know the children will enjoy a much more relaxed day on Friday before it’s back to it on Monday.
Next week, on Thursday 18th May, we are holding a ‘FAMILY CYBERWISE’ Course for parents and children in Y4,5,6. This is an opportunity for you to learn with your children to help them stay safe on-line. It starts at 9:00 a.m. and will finish at 11:00 a.m. Last week we sent out flyers, which needed a response. Please let us know if you can come, places are very limited.
Thank you for all you help with the sudden influx of JoJo Bows and Fidget Spinners. Since I wrote to you last week, we have had no further incidents.
During the summer term, uniform tends to become left behind. It’s no different this year. Please would you make sure that children are dressed smartly in their uniform each day with shiny black shoes. We have plenty of spare uniform for you to have. It makes such a difference to children’s learning and behaviour if they are dressed appropriately.
I hope you all have a pleasant and restful weekend. Next week is the beginning of KS1 SATs!
