Thank you to all our parents, children and friends who have helped us raise so much money in the last few weeks.
The Summer Fayre was last Thursday, to which we had a tremendous turnout. The children seemed to have a great time playing all the games and trying out the bouncy slide. We were very lucky with the weather because it only started raining as we were packing away.
The total amount raised from the Summer Fayre was approximately £1600. What a terrific effort. Many thanks to Mr Oxley for organising the school (!) and for Linda for organising so much of the rest. Thanks also to Donna, Kelly and Donna for helping set-up and organise Mr Oxley.
On Saturday, a team of dedicated parents (Joanne, Hayley, Kelly, Carrie, Emma, and Linda, of course) raised almost £500 at another event. What an incredible effort that is.
We are expecting to receive some money from The Co-Op and Tesco soon also.
This means that we shall have enough money to purchase a huge, brand new Trim Trail to replace our old dilapidated one!
Well done and thank you to our parents and families for their support.
Don’t forget that this Wednesday is Bradley Lowery Day at Highbank. For £1, children may come to school dressed in their own clothes (especially football shirts if you have one) to mark the sad death of Bradley. All proceeds will go to the charity that supports research into Bradley’s illness; Neuroblastoma.
Well done Everyone.
